Do have some bad news. Air Force MSG (Ret) Will Himes has passed away. Himes was instrumental in my decision to enlist. He was the guy with the most beautiful grass in the city. (Period) Himes retired from the Air Force around 1980 and never took a civilian job. He managed to own his home, and automobile when he was called. He loved to banter with the students from Carson Middle School, and he would often water his lovely lawn as the youngin's let out. Himes's last assignment was at Ft. Huachauca, AZ. I was`attending school there at the same time. On Friday's, we would carpool home, quaffing adult beverages along the way, discussing world affairs. Will Himes will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. RIP MSG Himes!
Mr. Jesse is doing well, working at Pinnacle Peak and attending Pima full time. Berri is still having adjustment problems....more to follow.
